Vice President Message

Amer Salam, Vice President of Marketing Association of Pakistan associated with MAP since 1994. He was elected as a Council Member for the period of 2010-2013. During 2011-12, he became part of the Executive Council and served MAP, as Joint Treasurer. In 2013-14, Amer became the Joint Secretary and proved his worth by promoting MAP on National Level. He also contributed in different Marcons and in Marcon 2014 he was the Chairman Sponsorship Committee. Amer holds the MBE and MBA degrees from the University of the Punjab & University of the Philippine and got the Diploma in “Successful Marketing Techniques” from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in 1999. Malik Amer Salam has a successful command on academic affairs, as he is the Visiting Faculty Member of “Brand Management” at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Lahore. He is currently on the board of Icon Communication Pvt. Ltd and has been active in a number of organizations over the years. Moreover, Amer got advertising Diploma from Paris School of Advertising & Business Management-France in 2008. Earlier in his Career, Amer was Country Sales & Marketing Manager of Global Telecom, a high-technology Telecom company & launched GT Calling Card under his leadership. In 2003, he took over as a Director Sales & Marketing of CITICALL and built it into one of Pakistan's leading payphone company.
